ABOUT THE STAFF......
Ms. Marybeth Salamone, Certified Lead Teacher in Grade Four - Room 202, became a faculty member at Robert Treat Academy in 2003. In addition to her responsibilities for Homeroom 202, Ms. Salamone teaches the mathematics curriculum to all RTA fourth graders. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University and completed a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program at William Paterson University. Prior to joining the Robert Treat staff, Ms. Salamone taught grade 3 for the Newark Archdiocese. Her hobbies and interests include cooking, hiking, reading, solving crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends.

Nicole Ostering, Room 202's Teacher Assistant, began working at Robert Treat Academy in 2006 after earning a B.A. in Psychology from William Paterson University. During her studies, she worked as a substitite teacher in the Nutley and Belleville Public School Systems for two years. Ms. Ostering is currently enrolled in a program to earn her Master's Degree in Psychology. In her spare time she enjoys writing, reading books by author Stephen King, baking and crocheting.
