ABOUT THE STAFF......
Ms. Salamone, Certified Lead Teacher in Grade Four - Room 202, became a faculty member at Robert Treat Academy in 2003. In addition to her responsibilities for Homeroom 202, Ms. Salamone teaches the mathematics curriculum to all RTA fourth graders. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University and completed a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program at William Paterson University. Prior to joining the Robert Treat staff, Ms. Salamone taught grade 3 for the Newark Archdiocese. Her hobbies and interests include cooking, hiking, reading, solving crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends.
Ms. Pena has over twelve years
of teaching experience in all grades from Kindergarten through eighth
grade. She is an alumnus of Caldwell
College. Ms. Pena is
a certified Elementary school teacher for grades K-5, with an additional
certification in Language Arts for grades 5-8.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her three grown
children, reading, and coaching soccer.
