ABOUT THE STAFF......
Christina Tarasenko, Team Teacher in room 308, graduated from Rowan University in 2010. She has earned a BA in Elementary Education as well as a BA in Writing Arts from Rowan. She has also earned her teacher of reading certification. In college. Ms. Tarasenko was an avid member of Students For Literacy Club, and raised a lot of money for literacy based causes. She served for one year as a mentor in the reading clinic at Rowan and has had the opportunity to work one on one with many students in this area. She is excited to be working at Robert Treat Academy and hopes to bring many smiles to the students of room 308.
Instructional Assistant Joelca Belen, joined the Robert Treat staff in 1999. After attending trade school and college, she decided that education was her calling and earned her certification as a Paraprofessional with Highly Qualified status through the Praxis exam. Ms. Belen has been working in the primary grades at the Academy for over ten years.
