ABOUT THE STAFF......
Ms. Salamone, Certified Lead Teacher in Grade Four - Room 202, became a faculty member at Robert Treat Academy in 2003. In addition to her responsibilities for Homeroom 202, Ms. Salamone teaches the mathematics curriculum to all RTA fourth graders. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University and completed a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program at William Paterson University. Prior to joining the Robert Treat staff, Ms. Salamone taught grade 3 for the Newark Archdiocese. Her hobbies and interests include cooking, hiking, reading, solving crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends.
Ms. McGrorry is thrilled to be a part of the Robert Treat community. She will be working with the 4th grade Math and Science classes as well as a 4th grade homeroom. Ms. McGrorry received both her B.A. in Chemistry and her Masters in Teaching from Drew University in Madison, NJ. Along with working at RTA, she also serves as assistant coach to the Drew University Women's Soccer Team.
