ABOUT THE STAFF......
Lead Teacher Ms. Theresa Rivera in Grade Five - Room 205 joined the Robert Treat Academy in 2001. She did her undergraduate work at Rutgers University and earned a Master's of Education from St. Peter's College. Ms. Rivera is responsible for teaching the language arts/literacy curriculum to all RTA fifth graders. During her time away from school, Ms. Rivera is interested in travelling around the world.

John Feinstein is a certified teacher. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Communication from New Jersey Cit University and received his Alternate Route teacher training for certification through Montclair University. Prior to joining the Robert Treat Academy Staff in 2003, Mr. Feinstein was a writer and editor of corporate communications, most recently for AT&T. He is the founding coach of the RTA debate team and is anadvisor for the student newsletter club. When not in the classroom, Mr. Feinstein spends time golfing, sailing, and playing the guitar.
