ABOUT THE STAFF......
Patricia Roemer, Lead Teacher in Grade Six - Room 204, heads the sixth grade mathematics teaching team. Ms. Roemer holds Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Elementary Education and History from Kean College. She taught at St. Cecilia's Grammar School for eight years and gained valuable. practical experience in math through her career as an accountant before coming to RTA in 2000. During her time away from school, Ms. Roemer enjoys seeing Broadway shows, travelling and reading.
Room 204's Instructional Assistant Zulma Hernandez also serves on the Grade Six Math Team. She began at the Academy in 2006. Ms. Hernandez has an Associates Degree from Edward Williams College at Fairleigh Dickinson University and has recently acheived her Bachelors degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix. Since joining our staff, Ms. Hernandez spent one year assigned to kindergarten and two years in sixth grade. Her outside interests include working on Suduko puzzles and playing other math games.
