ABOUT THE STAFF......

 Social Studies teacher, John Golombuski has been at Robert Treat Academy for over 8 years.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Rutgers University.  He certified and Highly Qualified as a social studies teacher.  Mr. Golombuski wanted to become a teacher when he was only a high school student because he saw a great need for students to analyze historical and current events and think for themselves to make the best decisions possible.  His interests are the New York Yankees and, of course, watching the History Channel.

Science Teacher Christine Kelley-Kemple is responsible for science instruction for all students in grades six through eight.  Ms. Kelley-Kemple began her teaching career at Robert Treat Academy in 2002.  She earned a B.S. degree from Nazareth Colllege in Rochester, New York.

Ms. Kelley-Kemple is certified as a K-8 Elementary School Teacher with Subject Specialization in Science.   Prior to joining RTA, she taught math and science for 20 years in private school.  She enjoys travel, hiking, bike riding, reading, cooking and speinding time with her family.

Sarah Moje, holds a B.A. in English Literature from New Jersey City University and an M.A. in Administration and Supervision from St. Peter's College. She is NJ Certified in English and Administration. Prior to coming to RTA, Ms. Moje worked briefly at University Academy Charter High School in Jersey City, serving as their English Department Chairperson. Previous to that, Ms. Moje worked at Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair for 8 years, serving as English Department Chairperson, Director of Admissions, and 9th - 10th grade Guidance Counselor. She also taught AP English Literature and Drama and coordinated the Middle States Evaluation Team. Ms. Moje's first two years in the field of education were at The Academy of Saint Aloysius in Jersey City where she worked as the Assistant Director of Development. Now here at RTA, Ms. Moje is the 7th grade homeroom teacher.
