ABOUT THE STAFF.....
Art Teacher Paula Gomez-Cherchio began her career at Robert Treat Academy in 2007. Ms. Cherchio earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, Georgia and a Masters of Education from St. Peter's College in Jersey City, New Jersey. Her credentials include certification in Arts Education - Grades K-12 and in Elementary Education - Grades K through five. Ms. Cherchio is a member of the AENJ (Arts Educators of New Jersey) and the NAEA (National Art Educators Association).
Prior to joining Robert Treat's faculty, Ms. Cherchio spent seven years teaching in two private schools and a social service agency: Immaculate Conception School in Secaucus, Montclair Kimberley Academy in Montclair and The Point Community Development Agency in the South Bronx in New York City.
