ABOUT THE TEACHERS......
Lead Teacher, Ms. Mary Saggio worked at Robert Treat Academy North in the first and second grades during the 2009/2010 school year. She was transferred to Central last May to join the Kindergarten Team. This year she will be working with Ms. Valentin in the Kindergarten class in Central. Mrs. Saggio previously taught third grade in a private school. She has three children who she enjoys being with in her spare time. She also has a passion for reading and gardening and tries to sneak in a visit to one of New Jersey's fine beaches.
Certified Teacher Ms. Christina Petrone is the new kindergarten teacher at Robert Treat Academy Central. She is happy to be a member of such a wonderful staff. It has been her passion to
teach ever since she was a little girl. Ms. Petrone studied elementary education and english
at Caldwell College and graduated in 2007. She has taught first grade in Clifton as
well as kindergarten and fourth grade in New Milford. She also loves to sing, run, and
going to the beach.
