SCHOOL NURSE- CENTRAL
MS. KUMJA LEE
Our school nurse,
Kum Ja Lee, has
been at Robert Treat Academy for over ten years. She is very happy to work with
school aged children and take care of their needs. She is most appreciative of
the support of the administration and staff.
Ms. Lee was born in
South Korea. She earned an RN Degree and license in Korea where she worked in a
hospital for several years and then as a nurse in a primary school and a girls'
high school.
After Ms. Lee came
to America in 1982, she worked as a hospital nurse and a substitute school
nurse at different elementary, middle and high schools in the north Jersey
area. She has also worked with elderly people as she is certified as a
geriatric nurse.
Ms. Lee holds a
Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Caldwell College. Since arriving in
America, she has obtained her school nurse certification. She is also a
certified CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) at Overlook Hospital.
